Community Outreach Coordinator
Diana is the face of the Academy, leading efforts to identify and secure partnerships with Community-Based Organizations that support Disadvantaged Communities. Fluent in Spanish, she focuses on outreach to prospective students, particularly in Spanish-speaking areas. In addition to community engagement, Diana oversees external marketing efforts, including social media campaigns, trade show participation, and high school visits. She also collaborates with the team to connect Academy graduates with potential employers, helping them launch successful careers.
Diana holds a degree in Criminology from John Jay College of Criminal Justice, where she developed a deep understanding of human behavior and the justice system. Her passion for people and their environments led her to the field of Building Science, where she is committed to creating sustainable, energy-efficient homes that promote safety and well-being. She also holds a BPI Building Science Principles certification.
Outside of work, Diana enjoys spending time with her husband and son, playing volleyball, and practicing yoga.She can be reached at dmartinez@healthyhomeacademy.org
